Insurance
Each student is required to have a health insurance policy and an accident insurance for the entire duration of their stay in Poland.
Students from EU should obtain the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Apart from that, we also highly advice to get a private insurance which covers the following:
- Civil liability
- Accidents and serious illness (including temporal and permanent disability)
- Death and repatriation
Students are asked to send a scan of their EHIC till end of the application process.
Students without the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) need to get a private insurance which covers the following:
- Medical treatment and hospitalization following illness or accident
- Civil liability
- Accidents and serious illness (including temporal and permanent disability)
- Death and repatriation
Students are asked to send a scan of their insurance till end of the application process.
In the light of pandemic and to make students stay safe, we strongly advise incoming students to secure an additional insurance which covers a medical treatment in case of covid19 contagion. Such an insurance should guarantee a refund of a covid19 hospitalization.
